To all the wonderful people I've worked with, worked for, met, taught and photographed in my time as a freelance photographer and occasional tutor I thank you all for bringing so much life, light and colour to what I have been seeing and sharing over the past years… Without you I would have had very little to do!!!
I have decided to step back from being a freelance photographer to allow for more time in my 'real' work in affordable rural housing and a new project working with ex-offenders who've 'gone straight' and are now able to help others follow their example. I am not going to give up photography, though, as I quite fancy rediscovering the use of my cameras for my own interest and creativity - it's been quite a while since I photographed a sunrise… I also have an opportunity to collaborate as photographer on a book of Scottish poetry - this will involve seeking out various locations and laying siege to them until the conditions are right…
Your patience, kindness, happiness and cheekiness (you know who you are!) have transformed my life…
